Tickbite /Puntura di zecca / Fästingbett

Tickbites are getting more common in Sweden. If  you are unlucky the result could be TBE or Borelia. The former you can avoid if you are vaccinated. The latter is cured by antibiotics 

We have taken a syringe today and we don’t have to take the next one until 5 years from now.

Noi ci hanno vaccinati oggi contro la TBE causata da punture di zecche.

Idag har vi tagit en spruta mot TBE. Nu kan vi vänta i 5 år innan vi behöver förnya vaccinationen. Jag får ytterst sällan fästingbett men hustrun desto oftare.  Hon fick t.o.m.ett bett i november förra året. Hon har också haft Borelia som man inte kan skaffa sig mot men som går att behandla med antibiotika.

  1. Inga behagliga djur alls så kanske skulle man komma till skott och vaccinera sig…

  2. Oh, I don’t like ticks at all. They can kill animals, and make humans very sick, in Australia.

  3. En rätt så onödigt djur i mitt tycke. Min mamma fick också borelia och hon är ändå duktig att genomsöka sig själv varje gång hon var i terräng.

  4. Yikes. Ticks are common in Ohio, especially in wooded areas.. so we are vigilant. It’s important to know how to remove them properly if you do get bit.

  5. Da noi non credo esista questo tipo di vaccinazione.
